👋 Remove Background From Video turns a product photo and a line of script into a UGC-style video ad. The dialogue and the picture are generated in one sampling pass, so there is no separate voiceover to sync, and a character reference keeps the same presenter across every variant of a campaign. How it works, and what that changes
You give it a product photo and the line you want said. What comes back is a short clip of a person saying that line while holding, wearing or using the thing you uploaded. The speech and the picture are produced in one sampling pass rather than as two jobs stitched together, which is why the mouth matches the words without a sync step. The usual pipeline renders silent video, generates audio, then tries to reconcile the two, and the half-second of drift that comes out of that is the reason a lot of AI ads read as AI ads. A reference image is what keeps the product recognisably yours instead of a plausible-looking substitute the model invented, so if you intend to actually run the ad, upload the photo.
What it costs, stated before you spend it
One credit is one US cent, and a generation is quoted before you submit it. Grok Imagine 1.5 renders at 480p for 4 credits a second, which makes a five-second ad 20 credits. MiniMax H3 is 14 a second at 720p and 22.4 at 1080p, so the same ad is 70 or 112. There are no free credits. The way in is a First Remake, one 15-second template remake for $2.99 once, and packs start at $9.90 with credits that last 90 days. A generation that fails releases the credits it reserved. That is enforced in the ledger rather than handled case by case, so a clip that never arrived never costs anything.
What it will not do
Clips are five, eight, ten or fifteen seconds. There is no long-form mode, and the cap is a limit of this product rather than a rounding of something longer. You keep the rights to what you make here, including the ads you run with it. The one thing you cannot do is generate a real, identifiable person without their permission, which is the place where owning the output does not settle the question.
